DESCRIPTION:Staff Council is happy to announce that we will be sponsoring our first Take Your Child to Work Day on Thursday\, April 25\, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.\n\nWe will have different activities for different ages and lunch will be included.  Registration information will be shared next week but we wanted to get on your calendars!\n\nInterested in planning the day’s activities or maybe facilitating a session?  Send an email to staff.council@newark.rutger.edu and we’ll send you an invite to our meeting next week.

SUMMARY:Take Your Child To Work 2024
DESCRIPTION:Registration is now open for RU-N Staff Council’s inaugural Take Your Child to Work Day on Thursday\, April 25\, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.!  Please complete the Registration Form by Monday\, April 22 to save a spot and receive additional information! \nWe will have different activities with suggested age ranges for you and the children to choose from. The day will include STEM activities\, modified campus tours\, physical activities\, arts & crafts\, and more! Lunch (and snacks) will be provided for you and the children. A quiet space and quiet activities will also be provided for those children who may need or want it. \n\n\nIndividual waivers for each child are required to be signed by their parent or legal guardian prior to participation.  If a Rutgers staff member will be hosting a child for whom they are not a parent or legal guardian\, they will need to complete the Rutgers Protection of Minors training in addition to submitting individual waivers for each child signed by their parent or legal guardian.  You will be contacted separately with information on the training. \n\n\nWe encourage you to discuss the event with your supervisor in advance.  If there are questions regarding approval\, please email us at staff.council@newark.rutgers.edu so that we can facilitate a discussion.
