Hidden Figures are women who work\, educate\, serve and lead at the university\, within our schools and neighborhoods\, businesses and organizations\, but for various reasons\, have not yet been formally recognized through public award(s). The purpose of these sessions is to listen to and learn from our faculty\, staff\, and students. Your diverse experiences\, views\, and recommendations regarding the future of work at Rutgers University will help the task force better understand the evolving needs of Rutgers staff and other communities. The task force will use what they learn to make recommendations that support its goals of becoming a more resilient\, competitive\, and inclusive organization. \nThere will be three\, 1½ hour online listening sessions: \n\nThursday\, February 17\, 4:30 to 6 p.m.\nFriday\, February 25\, 1 to 2:30 p.m.\nTuesday\, March 1\, 10 to 11:30 a.m.\n\nTo register\, please visit https://futureofwork.rutgers.edu. DESCRIPTION:As the Future of Work Task Force works to develop its recommendations\, members of the university community are invited to participate in a series of virtual listening tours. The purpose of these sessions is to listen to and learn from our faculty\, staff\, and students. Your diverse experiences\, views\, and recommendations regarding the future of work at Rutgers University will help the task force better understand the evolving needs of Rutgers staff and other communities. The task force will use what they learn to make recommendations that support its goals of becoming a more resilient\, competitive\, and inclusive organization. \nThere will be three\, 1½ hour online listening sessions: \n\nThursday\, February 17\, 4:30 to 6 p.m.\nFriday\, February 25\, 1 to 2:30 p.m.\nTuesday\, March 1\, 10 to 11:30 a.m.\n\nTo register\, please visit https://futureofwork.rutgers.edu. Registration is required and participation is voluntary. Attendees must sign up during registration to speak.  Speakers will be limited to two (2) minutes. SUMMARY:2021 Winter Blessing Drive
DESCRIPTION:Support RU IPO Public Safety and partners 2021 Winter Blessing Drive. \nFor the past 4 years\, they have collected over 3\,500 toys for nearly 500 children in the city of Newark\, New Jersey. Each year they receive a list of children who have either experienced a hardship or overcome a struggle in the calendar year. We must ensure each child on the list receives a special present to show them they are loved\, valued\, and supported by their community! This year we will advance our community caretaking call to action by supporting our children\, senior citizens\, residents of domestic violence shelters\, and residents of homeless shelters. Our seniors\, veterans\, and community families are in dire need of hats\, scarves\, and gloves as blustery winter weather nears. They also have a list of about 50 elementary schools students in need of winter coats.   \nThis year’s recipients are: \n\nThe Safe House\nThe Salvation Army\nValor  Veteran’s Shelter\nSelect Newark Public Schools students\n\nHow can you help make this year’s drive a success? Please see the below actions steps to ensure you are an engaged supporter! No action is too small! We encourage and ask that spread awareness of this drive amongst your networks! \n\nSpread Holiday Hope by Adopting a – Child! Please feel free to contact PO Shantia Stanley or I to gather information on adopting a child from our list.
