SUMMARY:Future of Work Task Listening Sessions
DESCRIPTION:As the Future of Work Task Force works to develop its recommendations\, members of the university community are invited to participate in a series of virtual listening tours. The purpose of these sessions is to listen to and learn from our faculty\, staff\, and students. Your diverse experiences\, views\, and recommendations regarding the future of work at Rutgers University will help the task force better understand the evolving needs of Rutgers staff and other communities. The task force will use what they learn to make recommendations that support its goals of becoming a more resilient\, competitive\, and inclusive organization. \nThere will be three\, 1½ hour online listening sessions: \n\nThursday\, February 17\, 4:30 to 6 p.m.\nFriday\, February 25\, 1 to 2:30 p.m.\nTuesday\, March 1\, 10 to 11:30 a.m.\n\nTo register\, please visit https://futureofwork.rutgers.edu. Registration is required and participation is voluntary. Attendees must sign up during registration to speak.  Speakers will be limited to two (2) minutes. Anyone who does not wish to speak during the session will have the opportunity to submit comments during the registration process for the task force members to review.

DESCRIPTION:This year’s theme\, Campus Trailblazers: 75 Years of Celebration\, highlights the contributions of women throughout Rutgers University-Newark’s history. We will: celebrate our incredible past achievements by women at RU-N including a special keynote with our formidable former Vice Chancellor Marcia Brown; acknowledge the contributions of this present year’s honorees; and look to the future with our student panelists and performers. \nThe Rutgers University-Newark Women’s History Month Steering Committee is seeking nominations for Hidden Figures\, Sheroes among the Rutgers University-Newark and greater Newark community to recognize at the event. Hidden Figures are women who work\, educate\, serve and lead at the university\, within our schools and neighborhoods\, businesses and organizations\, but for various reasons\, have not yet been formally recognized through public award(s). Their contributions are undeniable but their stories are yet to be fully told.
