The Rutgers University-Newark Women’s History Month Steering Committee is seeking nominations for Hidden Figures, Sheroes among the Rutgers University-Newark and greater Newark community to recognize at our March 30th, 2022 Women’s History Month event.
Hidden Figures are women who work, educate, serve and lead at the university, within our schools and neighborhoods, businesses and organizations, but for various reasons, have not yet been formally recognized through public award(s). Their contributions are undeniable but their stories are yet to be fully told.
Qualifications: Must work, serve, or volunteer at Rutgers University-Newark or in the greater Newark community, have made a significant impact, and have not been publicly honored for their contributions in the past. We will be honoring Staff/Faculty members, Community Partners, and Students.
