Flu Vaccinations for Staff and Faculty

In order to provide safe delivery of the flu shot during the COVID-19 pandemic, the Occupational Health Department (OHD) has organized an outdoor flu clinic for employees currently working on the Newark campus.  They are partnering with Walgreens who will provide the vaccinations at this clinic.  It will be held on Thursday, September 24 from 10 AM- 2 PM (weather permitting) and will be located on the Norman Samuels Plaza.

You MUST bring a copy of your medical insurance card at the time of your visit.  Fluzone High-Dose vaccine (https://www.cdc.gov/flu/prevent/qa_fluzone.htm) will be offered in a very limited supply at each clinic to those who are eligible.  Occupational Health staff will be on site to provide the vaccine to any uninsured current employees.

Prior to coming to the OHD Flu Shot Clinic for your flu shot, please do the following:

1. Check their website to determine if there is a rescheduling due to weather: http://occhealth.rutgers.edu.
2. Read the Vaccination Information Sheet (VIS) available at: http://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/hcp/vis/vis-statements/flu.pdf
3. Print and complete the Consent for Vaccination Form available at:  Walgreens Flu Consent Form

Please arrive at the clinic wearing a face covering and you must bring the following:

1.   Rutgers Employee ID card
2.   Copy of health insurance card or actual card
3.   Completed Consent for Vaccination Form
4.   Pen
