RU-N Down News: The Staff Council Newsletter, Vol. 2, Issue 6

As a memorable fiscal and academic year ends, the Rutgers University-Newark Staff Council recognizes and thanks all of you for your professionalism, perseverance, and ability to adapt during the pandemic.

We echo what Rutgers president Jonathan Holloway so eloquently said in his May 27, 2021, email about our return to campus, “I want to reiterate my deep thanks to all those who never really left because of the nature of their work; we remain in your debt. I also appreciate the efforts of those working from home, often overcoming the special challenges of managing the other aspects of your lives affected by the pandemic. Indeed, I recognize the great work of our University community during this difficult and uncertain time, and I am proud of everything that we’ve been able to accomplish.”
