Women’s History Month Donation Drive

In honor of Women’s History Month, the Women’s History Month Committee is holding a donation drive, co-sponsored by RUPD, the BOLD Program, and the Office of Student Life and Leadership. They are looking for new and sealed feminine hygiene products. You can find examples of such items on the included image.

Through this drive, they aim to benefit 3 organizations:

  • Barringer High School
  • Treehouse Cares, a nonprofit that provides food and resources for the homeless population
  • PantryRUN, our very own on-campus food pantry

There are three drop-off locations for items:

  • RUPD, 200 University Ave, Lobby
  • 110 Warren St, Room 110
  • Rutgers Business School, Room 324

They will be collecting items throughout the entire month of March and up until Saturday, April 9th, at 9:00am! April 9th is Community Engagement Day (CED) and volunteers for CED will sort donations for the organizations. If you would like to volunteer for Community Engagement Day, sign up here: https://go.rutgers.edu/cedsp22. This is open for faculty, staff, students, and their families!

If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to Kelsey Dunne, Graduate Coordinator for the Office of Student Life & Leadership, at kkd51@newark.rutgers.edu.
