Pre-election Resources: RU Voting? Know Your Rights

October 21, 2020 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

This has been an unprecedented year. The impacts have been wide reaching, and voting for the upcoming election is just as overwhelming. We have all experienced extensive media coverage with varying levels of accuracy which may cause confusion and misunderstanding with voting process. To address this, we are hosting RU VOTING? KNOW YOUR RIGHTS discussion designed to provide Rutgers University-Newark staff members with the correct, up to date, and accurate information on voting in New Jersey.

Join distinguished panelists, Penny M. Venetis, Clinical Professor of Law and Director of International Human Rights Clinic, Rutgers School of Law, and Yael Bromberg, Principal of Bromberg Law LLC and Chief Counsel for Voting Rights with Andrew Goodman Foundation; in a panel discussion on what you need to know about your VOTER RIGHTS in State of New Jersey.

Penny and Yael are both leading experts in their fields and have been recognized nationally and internationally for their work and scholarship. We are delighted to have two incredible scholars and legal experts joining us for the discussion.

Moderators Associate Vice Chancellor Dr. Bil Leipold and Director, HR Newark, Candace D. Joseph.

We look forward to your attendance and participation.
