Women’s History Month 2022 Celebration

This year’s theme, Campus Trailblazers: 75 Years of Celebration, highlights the contributions of women throughout Rutgers University-Newark’s history. We will: celebrate our incredible past achievements by women at RU-N including a special keynote with our formidable former Vice Chancellor Marcia Brown; acknowledge the contributions of this present year’s honorees; and look to the future with our student panelists and performers.

The Rutgers University-Newark Women’s History Month Steering Committee is seeking nominations for Hidden Figures, Sheroes among the Rutgers University-Newark and greater Newark community to recognize at the event. Hidden Figures are women who work, educate, serve and lead at the university, within our schools and neighborhoods, businesses and organizations, but for various reasons, have not yet been formally recognized through public award(s). Their contributions are undeniable but their stories are yet to be fully told. Wo we encourage you to Nominate a facuty, staff, student or community Sheroe by Monday, March 7, 2022 at 12pm.
