Take Your Child to Work Day 2026

Registration is now open for RU-N Staff Council’s Take Your Child to Work Day on Thursday, April 23, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.! Please be sure to REGISTER as the event will fill up and we want to be sure to have enough supplies (and food)!
We’re also looking for volunteers so even if you don’t have a participating child, you can join the fun! (registration form).
We will have different activities for you and the children to choose from including STEM activities, physical activities, arts & crafts, and more! Lunch (and snacks) will be provided for you and the children. A quiet space and quiet activities will also be provided for those children who may need or want it.
Individual waivers for each child are required to be signed by their parent or legal guardian prior to participation. While we will have volunteers to assisting with day’s activities, supervision of each child remains the responsibility of the staff member throughout the day. If a Rutgers staff member will be hosting a child for whom they are not a parent or legal guardian, they will need to complete the Rutgers Protection of Minors training in addition to submitting individual waivers for each child signed by their parent or legal guardian. Training can be completed online using your Rutgers NetID.
