Breast Cancer Thrivers Kick Off Meeting
September 24 @ 4:30 pm - 5:30 pm
Did you know?*
- Breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer among U.S. women.
- Approximately 13% (about one in eight) of U.S. women are going to develop invasive breast cancer in the course of their life.
- A man’s lifetime risk of breast cancer is about 1 in 833.
Join our very own RU-N Breast Cancer Thriver, Dr. Audrey Redding-Raines, as she facilitates a program to support you whether you have been diagnosed, you are a caretaker, or you are simply a supporter of those on their journey.
While this group is focused on breast cancer, it is open to all affected by cancer as you will benefit from sharing, reflecting, and learning about coping strategies and resources.
The kickoff meeting will be in-person on Tuesday, September 24 in Center for Law & Justice, room 202. Future meetings are scheduled every other Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. and will include virtual opportunities as well. Dr. Redding-Raines has planned a wonderful program for us and we hope you can join us in supporting and celebrating our thrivers!
